Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RapBattle app and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RapBattle is a platform for live freestyle rap battles, music uploads, community voting, and rankings. Some features are free; others are optional paid purchases, described below.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use RapBattle. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Community Conduct

RapBattle is built around competitive freestyle content, which may include mature themes typical of the genre. That said, the following are never allowed:

Harassment, hate speech, or threats directed at real people.
Impersonation of another person or organization.
Uploading content you don't have the rights to.
Attempting to manipulate votes, rankings, or payments through fraud or automation.

Staff and moderators may remove content, mute, suspend, or permanently remove any account that violates these Terms, at their discretion.

4. Purchases & Virtual Currency

RapBattle offers optional paid features, including subscriptions, one-time digital purchases (such as upload credits, ad placements, and event tickets), and "Rations," an in-app virtual currency.

No real-money value. Rations and all other digital items in RapBattle have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, or withdrawn for real money, and exist solely for use within the app. RapBattle is not a gambling platform — outcomes of in-app "support" or voting mechanics never pay out real currency.

All purchases are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.

5. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the music, videos, and other content you upload. By posting to RapBattle, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the app (for example, showing your battle videos to other users).

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for purchases already made, except as described in our Refund Policy or required by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do our best to keep RapBattle available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
